Festival & Concert

A week-long event, the World Peace Festival will have dozens of pavilions, representing humanitarian, world peace, and environmental organizations from every continent, will provide multimedia venues for displays, seminars and documentaries to inform, educate and entertain tens of thousands of attendees from around the world. There will be a wide array of seminars, displays and documentaries, all involving environmental sustainability, universal peace, human rights and Earth ethics.

Earth Ethics, when taught and practiced, will significantly reduce the root causes of many human problems: war, terrorism, hunger and poverty, global warming, environmental deterioration and the loss of thousands of species through extinction. Earth Ethics holds the realistic hope of establishing, on Earth, the ideal of: universal peace.

On the day the Nobel Prizes are awarded, the world's greatest artists will perform for peace during a 24-hour concert, televised live throughout world. The World Peace Concert is artistic activism at its best: We inform, encourage, and stimulate artists' awareness of social and ecological issues, then create an information avenue to communicate their messages to the world.

Ambassador Andrew Young's GoodWorks International will organize the African Pavilion where Africa-based peace, humanitarian, environmental and species preservation organizations will be housed.
